Weather on the tropical southwest Gulf Coast of Florida
typically varies by season.
From October through December normal daytime highs range from 85°F (30°C) to 76°F (24°C) and low temperatures vary
from 68°F (20°C) to 54°F (12°C).
From January through March normal daytime high temperatures range from 75°F (24°C) to 80°F (27°C) with normal average low
temperatures from 54°F (12°C) to 59°F (15°C).
The water temperature in the shallow sloping Gulf varies with the sunshine, and ranges from 66°F (19°C) to 71°F (22°C) during the final and first months of the year. LIGHTNING: Storms on the beach may often have lightning. FIRE HAZARD: The Fort Myers Beach area has been deficient
in rainfall during the past months. Please be aware that the
